What is jelqing? Jelqing exercises are an effective method to increase penis length and thickness. It is believed that the origin of the word “jelqing” dates stems from an ancient Arab technique which dates back more than 200 years.

They are the most effective lengthening method and the only one capable of making your penis thicker naturally. Jelqings consist of increasing the amount of blood inside the penis in order to increase the size of its cavernous bodies.

How to jelq properly? Grip in the form of OK: Make an “OK” sign with the fingers and index finger of your hand. With this grip, hold your penis.

    • Step 1: Movement: begin the movement towards the head of the penis, using firm and slow pressure. It shouldn't hurt, but it must be strong enough to move blood to the head of the penis.
    • Step 2: When arriving to the glans: each jelq can take between 2-3 seconds normally or between 5-10 seconds if you want to work the thickness.
    • Step 3: Stop by the glands: then repeat the jelqs until you reach a full 20-minute session.

Does Jelqing really work?

 

Yes, jelqing exercises work because they are able to expand the cavernous body of the penis.

The “cavernous body” is formed by two cylinders of a sponge-like tissue capable of containing 90% of the blood that reaches the penis in an erection.

They are a type of tissue that fills with blood to increase both length and thickness. They are the part of the penis that causes size, hardness, maintenance and final contractions.

Jelqing exercises if made correct are the most effective way of expanding this tissue. Once the tissue has expanded it stimulates the formation of new cells and increases the capacity of the penis to hold more blood inside.

How to jelq properly and safely?

It is important to do the exercises correctly to avoid unnecessary risks and to make a gains

  • Lubricant: before starting, lubricate your penis well with a lubricant, preferably a water-based one.
  • Erection level: you must have an erection at 50-75%. You can't be totally erect. It's necessary for the penis to be a little relaxed so that you can make the blood flow inside it.

The right angle

To get the most out of jelqings, you have to aim your penis downward so that (while milking your penis downward) you're also stretching the ligaments; helping you gain more inches/centimetres.

How long to jelq for? Jelqing everyday? 

How many times a week do you have to do the exercises? How long does each session have to last? I'm sure you've been asking yourself these questions.

Two to five sessions a week are necessary. Personally, I like to do 3 sessions a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) leaving 24 hours of space between each of them so that the tissues recover. The optimal duration of each session is between 20-30 minutes, depending on the intensity.

Each jelq should last about 3 seconds at first. As you get used to the exercises you can extend them up to 10 seconds per jelq, to work the thickness of the penis.

Grip

To work the penis well in all directions, do not hesitate to use different grips. The basic grasp in the form of “ok” is fundamental, but don't forget to do it with both hands, or use other grasps such as the “V” shape to create variation from time to time, so that your penis does not become habituated to the motions.

Prevent overtraining

Training more days than needed or longer than needed will make your results worse. One of the basic rules of both muscle growth and cell growth is that rest is the period during which cells repair and therefore growth occurs. You have to let your penis rest to grow. Exercising every day will saturate the exercise and give you no room to repair the cells that make up the tissues of your penis.

Types of jelqings

There are different types of jelqing that we can perform.

Wet Jelqing

Wet jelqing is the most common. It is performed with the help of lubricant to reduce friction between the hand and the penis. Never use gel or shampoo instead of lubricant, as the products they contain may irritate your skin.

Dry jelqing

Dry jelqing, or jelqing without lubricant, is a little less pleasant in reality. However, some men find them more effective because it is easier to retain blood in the penis when it is dry. Another advantage is that it can be done more discreetly; for example under the sheets if you sleep with someone else. This cannot be done with the lubricant.

The lateral jelqing

A fantastic solution to reduce the curvature of the penis involves making the movement in the opposite direction to the curvature. In this case it is advisable to have a slightly higher erection level of approximately 75%.

V-jelq

This variant emphasizes the thickness and sides of the penis. It is done by grasping the penis with the index and middle fingers with the palm of your hand facing you. Grabbing the penis with these two fingers forms a V, hence the name.

One hand jelq

Jelqing with one hand is as simple as its name suggests. It is done with only one hand, instead of alternating between the two. Before doing each jelg it is advisable to press down to the base of the pubis.

In the first 60 days I had already gained 30% in length. I managed to grow my penis 1.2 inches and move from 4 inches to 6.2 inches in length. I also got to increase the girth from 4.5 inches in circumference to 5.5 inches when erected. It is noticeable both when my penis is erecte and when it is flacid.

Is Jelqing safe?

Are jelqs dangerous or do they have any side effects? These exercises are safe and without side effects if done correctly. If you warm your penis beforehand and if you don't over train it, there is nothing to worry about. In addition, as you get practice and experience it is even possible to skip the preheating.

Conversely, if you don't follow the recommendations, some side effects may appear:

  • Red dots: If you exercise regularly, you may see small red dots appear on your skin as a result of breakage in the small blood capillaries. This is not a serious side-effect to be worried about, but in order to avoid this we recommend very gradual sessions. In this way we allow the blood capillaries to enlarge their size little by little.
  • The doughnut effect: is a common side effect that occurs on the skin surrounding the glans. Sometimes it swells and causes a doughnut or float around the glans to appear temporarily; disappearing within a few hours. In any case, in order to avoid this, it is necessary to jelq until the end of the glans, so that all the blood flows and circulates from beginning to end. If you stop the jelq in the middle of the penis shaft the blood stays stagnant in the same place and the doughnut appears.
  • Little scars may appear on the large one. They are not a symptom to be concerned about either, but they are a sign that the glans is gaining in size. If you want to avoid them, you can use moisturizer to make the glans skin more supple.

Jelqings and kegels

As you may know, kegels are muscular exercises of the perineum. These are contractions that cause more blood to flow into the penis. It's the contraction we make when we want to cease the stream while we're peeing.

Well, jelqing and kegels complement each other. Before each jelq a kegel contraction must be made to send more blood to the penis. After sending the blood, we catch that blood with the OK grip and carry it forward to the glans.

Jelqings and stretching

Jelqings and stretches are also two complementary exercises. When we perform a jelq we are also performing a stretch of the penile ligaments forward. However, it is necessary to take a few days off from the jeqings and perform only the stretching exercises to gain more length.

This way, we will ensure that the penis does not get used to the same routine. A day of stretching catches the penis by surprise and can make it grow bigger.

Jelqings and vacuum pumps

Vacuum pumps are not enough to enlarge the penis on their own, but they can be used before and after jelqings.

Before jelqs, in order bring more blood into the penis and prepare it for jelqs.

After the jelqs in order to push the penis to its limit. After jelqings the cavernous bodies of the penis are at their maximum capacity to hold blood. A few minutes of vacuum pump time after the jelqings will serve to push the penis beyond our limits and force it to grow bigger.
